Why use CJ?

    I am just getting started with affiliate marketing and have spent many hours reading through this forum and the CJ website. I apologize if I am asking questions that have been answered here before, but could not find the answers in existing posts.

    Why use CJ ?

    What do they do for you that joining a few good affiliate programs directly like Ebay or Amazon does not do?

    Do you get the same, more, or less of a commission using CJ than being a direct affiliate?

    I use CJ on my incentive site. I do ok with them.

    1. CJ is a affiliate network. Join CJ, and you can potentially have access to many many more merchants (if approved).

    2. eBay's affiliate program is through CJ

    3. CJ makes it's money off of the merchant.. so they don't take a 'cut' from the publisher (us).

    4. CJ provides data feeds, API, etc to all or most merchants.. so easy to get links products spanning multiple merchants with one request.

    Hey, Im thinking about joining CJ aswell, and have some more questions.
    Is CJ any good for making money advertising on adwords ? I need something other than clickbank to promote products, were I can make landing pages. Do they have the same type of affiliate offers like Azoogle ( I cant join Azoogle) , lead generation and such?

    Yes.. you can make money by promoting with adwords/ysm/msn/etc

    There are merchants that have offer/lead promotions where you can make money with landing pages.

    The main reason to use Commission Junction is the variety and quality of their merchants. Many of the world's top companies use CJ as their affiliate company, including Yahoo.

    Dale summed it up perfectly. They're the big dogs, so they get the big players that other cpa companies don't have access to.

    exactly what dale and deathfromabove says. cj rocks and i highly recommend to anyone. they are my main earners online aswell as other companies.. but cj is my main. i use them for ebay and various other offers..

    There's so many things you can sell on CJ. If you got good traffic, then you'll get a nice little check once a month.

    We cJ you get access to brand-name, premium merchants that people trust on line and are likely to purchase from. Linkshare also has quality merchants. In my opinion online consumers will more willing purchase from companies with good credibility so conversions will be good. Another good things they do is to give you the EPC or earnings per click for each merchant in the network so you can choose merchants that convert well right from the jump start.
