It is a little hard to judge it though seeing as some are better in some areas, whilst others in area.

Maybe you could classify it in terms of speed and lyrics, or something alike?

I honestly think there can never be a single G.O.A.T; everyone has a different style. While it's true that some rappers clearly outshine the rest, it's my opinion that hip-hop is such a diverse playground that one player can never outrank all others.

Plus, a lot of these ass-kissing kids today will laugh at you if you so much as mention the late great veterans like Rakim or Whodini or BDP. Get them a Lil Wayne CD and they'll bump it all night long while sucking on their girlfriend's [insert body part]. Now, I'm 19 myself and I'm not even American but I've heard enough records from the golden era to know what's true hip-hop and what's not

But what I'm saying is that hiphop continually (de)evolves; you need to take the contemporary appeal of an artist when ranking him/her among the best.

If I were to personally nominate a rapper to be crowned the G.O.A.T, I'd say KRS-One. In my humble opinion, he's WAY better than 2Pac ever was. I do like Pac but his music was too redundant for me to put him at no. 1.
