Alexa Page Rank

    I have two blogs.

    Ones has a page Alexa page rank of 7507906
    2nd link has a Alexa page rank of 12

    Could anyone help me by explaning what it means?

    It means Alexa is meaningless..

    not sure why this is posted in the adsense section..

    Yes, Alexa blows chunks. And by the way, it's traffic rank - not to be confused with Google's page rank.

    Since traffic rank depends on who has the toolbar installed (or who is cheating with auto surf), it is highly unreliable.

    are useless actualy Alexa is crap meanwhile PR means still something but not important like rankings and traffic those are the only things that count

    You can simply the boost the alexa rank by just checking your site using the alexa enabled tool bar. Nowadays, the alexa traffic has no significance at all. Try to improve the real PR, that is the google PR!

    The 2nd link is probably a blogspot blog and this is Blogspot's Alexa ranking. When the blog gets older--- Alexa will assign it an individual rank. Is the first blog a blogspot blog?

    Meaningless to your Adsense reenue, but you can find out how popular a site is. So if somebody calmes to have a site with 20.000 viitors a day, his alexa rank could be anywhere between, 50.000 and 300.000.

    But of course this also depends on if the visitors have the toolbar installed.
    You could be from china, have 50.000 chinese visits a day and still have a low alexa rank, ...because less chinese people install the alexa toolbar.

    Alexa can give you a quick view on the popularity of a site, like a poll, and thats it. Doesnt mean anything to your adsense payout percentage.
    Of caourse the result an also be very far from reality.

    Why does everybody know alexa...
