If you are going to sign up a new web hosting service, will you sign up via a rebate site*? why and why not? I ask this question because I have a plan to open a web hosting rebate site myself, what advise will u give me? What do you think are important elements to make u sign up via my web hosting rebate? please kindly share your opinions, thank you. *A rebate site will rebate some of the money to you if you sign up via their links.
Personally I don't think anyone likes 'rebates' however everyone likes getting money back so it might work. I still do not understand, why would the customer pay $100 up front and then after 6 months get $30 back for example. Can you just explain how exactly your system works and how you can explain a hosting rebate to a customer? People will wonder why they have to wait to get a rebate and how it benefits them.
Of course, I will write a full explanations to explain how the rebate works in my site, basically, if you purchase a web hosting service via my site and you can get a rebate check after 30 days, the amount will be $20-30, that's my plan
Try to get the people you rebate to write a testimonial about your site. A testimonial page might help out ex. www.hostingplanrebates.com/testimonials.aspx FYI, it will take longer than 30 days for you to get the commission from most web hosts.
