I just found a host that has 15 different class C IPs per dedicated server. It's not cheap, it's for high-volume users. Anyone interested, PM me.

    The hostland site says:

We have over 200 C-Blocks. However, that does not mean your sites will be distributed across that many blocks, as most of them are occupied. As servers fill up, we continue to add new servers. At any given time, there are perhaps half a dozen servers available for provisioning new sites and those servers may or may not be on different C-Blocks.

Bottom line: If you add a lot of sites all at once, chances are they will be on the same C-Block. If you add sites gradually over a period of weeks and months you are more likely to get different C-Blocks.

Firstly, You should check with your provider, Having IPs delegated is one thing but having "Owned IP Addresses" is another and requires ARIN approval as someone mentioned, Also you will need the DC where your servers are hosted to get your IP's routed to them, ITs allot easier if you purchase them from your provider, Company's like FDCServers, ThePlanet, WeSellServers (Blatent plug) will deligate you a class-c (/24) for a cost. Shop around.

    Helpful websites for you:

    http://www.arin.net/
    http://www.fdcservers.com/
    http://www.theplanet.com/

Also there are allot of smaller companies out there that offer you just need to shop around. Find a dedicated server host thats right for you, Do some homework on them and see how much they will find a /24 to you for.

Hope this is of some help, Goodluck.

dont listen to yo-yo he has no concept of hosting "a huge server building" what

you buy bulk different c class ips on servers so different sites on that server can have different c-classes this is search engine friendly so the SE's dont think your associated with sites hosted on the same ip adress which would be the case hosted on a shared server

the best thing to do is to contact your DC if not you could always contact arin or ripe networks either way the dc is the best bet as it will have to go through them in someway or another

I don't know if anyone has paid any attention to the date of this thread, but it would seem that the OP is not any longer interested OR they may have already found their source. The last time the OP posted was JULY 30th 2005. That is longer then some people here at DP have even owned a computer, LOL....
