The largest note we have in the UK is a £50 note but most shops won't take them as there are more forgeries than rear. If you have a wallet full then u are assumed to be working for a Columbian Venture Capital Company of a Human Trafficker . Couldn't you just carry more?

It is a question of confidence, if the general public remains confident of the govt ability to handle the economy, there may be a mild recession or even continued growth, if this confidence fails, anything goes.

The next few weeks would be very important to see if the Fed earn their keep and also if the Bush admin leaves behind a recession or a booming economy legacy.

Generally a recession seems to last for about 10 months so I am told

It is hard to predict, past data was never accurate in predicting the future. Given the continual growth for such an extended period of time, this recession may take a bit longer, but really it is anyone's guess.

The newest releases from the lagging indicators point towards a stalled economy, by extrapolation, we may already be in the midst of a recession.

You mock it, but rarely have anything factual or insightful to contribute. I liken these responses to nervous laughs.

Again, hubris will be your undoing.

I advise you all to build bomb shelters and stock up on canned corn , water, and porn. G'Day.

So your point is, we are all gonna die, the end is near? Doom and gloom?

Yikes.. You do not have a very optimistic outlook on life.

My point is, and I have owned you on it repeatedly, is that your contribution to the economic debates are either making offcolor comments to diminish tangible facts presented by others, or to completely disappear or twist a factual and logical argument presented to you.

It's a shame, because I don't think you're dumb, but you seem to go out of your way to play dumb, instead of joining into the discussion in good faith.

For those times that he would disappear you'd think he would be on vacation somewhere, but oh wait he works too much and he loves it. Hey Mia you need a vacation to clear your head, when was the last time you had one like 7yrs ago?

Doom and gloom.. That's all there is... That's about all I get out of your pessimistic posts. Do you ever have anything positive to say?

I've been on vacation for the last week. Are you jealous or something.. You always seem to chime in and follow me around all the while making stupid comments and acting like a 2 year old. Are you ok? Don't they have modern medicine in Albania?

Give it a rest already.. You are annoying.

After the Fed cuts of another 50 basis points, the traders opt to lock in profits instead, this is totally in contrast to a normal euphoria after a rate cut. Does not augurs well for the economy.

Hahaa, I will give it a rest when you stop spewing BS posts and stop being Gquacks lapdog. And take a vacation for God's sake, 7yrs without one is kind of sad. ;)
