Hey guys,

I rescently promoted my proxy sites via stumble upon, i got quite a few hits.

Anyway, was wondering if the traffic is consistent? IE if i post something on digg it will get hits for a few days then traffic will stop, is stumble similar or is it more consistent traffic.

SU can boost your traffic but for monetization purpose, it's a bit unconvincing. I think social sites will only work greatly if your site can attract their attention (for example, your site is about entertainment or funny thing)

We include SU as a regular submission job. It delivers regular traffic, and we've had some decent spikes. Depends how you play it I guess

 

I agree the traffic does not convert well, also JILLACSON, you look pretty hot.

As other people have stated SU works best for people with entertaining blogs, humour and random but interesting news.
People like myself that have tutorial websites on website developing and any other tutorial site, well even though you might get a trickle of traffic you wont really receive anything major.
