I didn't think technically it was 'legal' just not prosecuted in some areas of Holland? I've heard this from several who live there before at least.
The only good thing regarding the legalization of drugs is it will be stopped the traffic and the enormous sums of money around these affairs...drugs addicted always will be the weakest ones among all people!
Alcohole and tabaco cause more harm than weed, it's quite stupid that thows two are legal and weed isn't. Also weed isn't adictive.
So many things wrong with your statement. #1 Pot smokers in almost all cases are not 'addicts' #2 'weakest' as in how? Physically? Mentally? Financially? In all 3 cases you'd be shocked to know not in all cases, many body builders smoke pot, many billionaires smoke pot, many extremely intelligent individuals smoke pot.
Marijuana is bad for you. Do you think that inhaling smoke is not going to be bad for you? The point is, we should have the right to do whatever we want to our bodies, in an open society. Therefore, pot should be legal. Too much money is spent on keeping it illegal. What a waste of taxpayers money.
Smoking is bad, you however don't smoke anywhere near as much 'pot' as you do cigarettes. You can also use pot other wasy than smoking, making the 'oh it's bad for you because you smoke' argument pretty damn lame
What is the reason? Do some research and you will find that it was not made illegal until the 1970. Lawmakers were unable to provide substantial proof that it was dangerous and turned to propaganda. In 1937 there was a tax issue on Marijuana. If you had MJ with no tax stamp it was illegal. You could not get a tax stamp unless you possessed MJ. The propaganda campaign persuaded the public that is was a terrible danger and it was classified in the same schedule (Schedule I) as heroine, PCP, Meth, and MDMA. This means that there is no known medical use. Many doctors argue that there are proven medical applications, especially for cancer patients and AIDS patients that lost their appetites. If it was sold at the local newspaper stand, then it would probably be a problem. Too much abuse if it was not controlled. If it was made legal, then there would be a reduction in illicit trade, from which no tax is paid. Plus, if it were regulated, then quality would be assured. Total uncontrolled supply to the public would be harmful. Smoking is harmful. PERIOD. But consuming marijuana in other ways is not.
Its medical advantages far outweigh its hindrances when compared with most other drugs which were approved my the FDA. I have used it in the past to help with ADD and Adult ADHD, it didn't give me kidney stones like so many of the main stream meds have. If cigarettes are legal with a warning why cant weed be?
Saying that a drug addicts are the weakest people is pretty stupid. Do you think our founding fathers were weak? Back then, alcohol was perfect all day every day. They were drunk most of the time. I think it helped them loosen up and come up with radical ideas, like separating from the British.
Because the people in our legislature and supreme court are stuck in 1950 and propaganda films have been ingrained in their subconscious.
I think it should be legalized too, legalized and taxed, I don't see anything wrong about it, but there would have to be several laws against abuse, just like in alcohol, it'd be fine than
If your stoned factor is above a 3.2 and you are caught driving you will be issued a DWS (Driving While Stoned)
Cigars = Leaf and Marijuana = Leaf. I wonder what's wrong. It could help the economy, maybe. Yep, IMO means In My Opinion and IMHO for In My Humble Opinion.
