    Hello,

Do you know what is the more efficient way to do "branding" for a website ?

Display Ads ? How much should I spend to get some results ?

Branding is about image, so one of the most effective ways to brand your website is to have a unique, nice design, specifically a professional logo, and a good, catchy slogan.

Yeah, i think the most important part of branding like "Possibility" mentioned is a good professional logo that you would advertise on a mass audience.

I thinking branding shouldn't be underestimated as being quite a challenge, you really need to force your name out there i would imagine, as already suggested you want something quite powerful happening with your logo and overall site design.

What are you trying to brand? Unless you are trying to do something really huge it may just be a waste of time. I think the idea of branding doesn't really apply to about 99% of internet businesses.

    Yeah, I have to agree.

I also think that branding is highly overrated. Rarely does a business, both on and offline recoup his advertising dollars. If a particular ad or method isn't working, pull it! Branding will just drain your advertising expense account.

Maybe for most websites, but for real estate, it is important.

    Example :
    - AD1 : Sell your house on "WallStreet.com Real Estate" for 10$
    - AD2 : Sell your house on "Google Real Estate" for 10$
    - AD3 : Sell your house on "A-real-estate.com Real Estate" for 10$

You will choose N1 or N2. Never N3...
And real estate agents will work only with the most famous websites.
