Declined my ads but approved yours

When I created an campaign within Adwords using general keywords and the same ad copy that I already saw on Google, my ad was rejected because of Copyright. Here is the detailed explanation...

Copyright: At this time, Google policy does not permit the
advertisement of websites (including services or products therein) that
violate or encourage violation of any applicable laws. In this case,
your advertisement directs users to a website that either contains (or
claims to contain) copyrighted TV shows, movies, or music that cannot
be distributed freely online, or your website promotes the availability
of such material without the consent of the copyright holder.

As noted in our advertising terms and conditions, we reserve the right
to exercise editorial discretion when it comes to the advertising we
accept on our site, and to terminate particular ads in our discretion.

Ok, my website just reviews other websites and it is an exact clone of another website that is advertising when it comes to content. I did a search for one of the keywords I used and 5 very similar sites came up, one that is a clone of my site at the number one spot with highlight and everything. So why did Google really decline my ad but let other sites advertise and is there anything I can do to get my ad approved?

Because Google are idiots! I have ran a site that promotes TV on Computer subscriptions before and that has happened before. You have to be kind of sneaky when you're putting your ads up... Try doing content placement first, and then after a few days if all is good set your bids for the search placement.

Easy, they're doing something you're not.

It's not as straightforward as copying their site and ads and keywords. There's more involvement that the other guy is doing that you aren't.

What more involvement could they have within Adwords? You enter keywords, ads and create a landing page. What is the other step i'm missing?

I don't understand this ad approval problem as well.

I was running ads that were violating copyright rules for about 3 months on one account, and no one banned me. Then my friend tried to create same campaign in his account and he got banned on the next day :(
