WTF!!!! Paypal vs betfair

Two huge companies. Betfair (poker and sports bet room) accepts paypal. At one point paypal had banners on their home page promoting betfair and giving away free $5 bet. So after meking a few transactions my account got limited.

    This is bullshit!

Warning. Don't use paypal with betfair even though they are partners

Oh yes, there are 1000s of people using paypal on betfair...

    sundaybrew

I might do actually. Thanks for the link.

Im on the line to paypal now. The fuckers would not even speak to me. I guess im just a victim of their fucked up relationship with betfair.

Please excuse my language but I'm very angry now. Iv been with paypal for since 2004 and over $60.000 went through them. That's a bong in charges! And now they just drop me....

    PayPal sucks!

We are forced to use them because it's a monopoly.

mightyb, I would send that link to PayPal.

Did you had a lot of money in your account Ilia?

I'm sure you'll sort things out, the FAQ gives you reason. They can't go against that i guess.

Luckily i only had a few $ on there. If this was to happen yesterday i would have had £1200 for the furniture i had to buy for my parents. That would have been scary!

    I hope so :) thanks

Update: They say i have been receiving money for gambling from other paypal users and i used to launder it through betfair. When i told them i only received money for webmaster related services and i have appropriate documentation and receipts proving all transactions were legitimate i can send to them, the replied:

We consider the matter closed and do not require any additional information.

    Dickeds!

Ah well... So what shall i start using instead? Any recommendations? Google checkout, MB, gold, epassporte?

I would create another account with PayPal.

But in alternatives, I would use Google Checkout, MB or 2checkout.

I dont get it, so basically they want you to fund your account yourself and then move the funds into betfair!!

If the case is you cant put money into your account sent by another user, you may as well just use your card on betfair!
