I was reading today. Apparently the organs such as the kidney, stomach and liver can live to 200 if there treated like a temple. But the heart is a bit more limited. But if you treat your body like a temple. 200 is on. Do you think in a few thousand years people will live to around 200?
No one ever got even close to 200, so I doubt that there's a chance, even if you treat your body like a "temple". And the body can't live without a working heart...? But yes, perhaps in the future it'll be possible. Most likely.
No. My sisters kidneys packed in when she was 16. The heart becomes far too weak. Other organs like the pancreas also shut down, hence large amounts of old people being diabetic. Muscles weaken and day-to-day jobs become hard. Hearning and eyesight worsen too. I cant see anyone living 120+ anytime soon.
There is a girl in Lebanon who is the oldest in the world. She is 132. She still works on the farm every day. Guiness world records
People still search imortality but i think they will never find it and i accept that evrybody has to die sometimes
No. I don't think so. Maybe in the future when doctors/scientist find something that can make the heart stronger over the years. Then it might be possible. But for now, no. Your heart becomes way to weak over the years even if treated as a "Temple".
I treat my girlfriends body like a temple As for my own body... It looks more like those ancient temple ruins I think I will do well just to make it to 100
If you live in a jungle or far away from civilization then maybe this is possible. 1. you eat only natural foods, so you get pure vitamins and minerals, not the ones manufactured in laboratories that can get lots of harmful foreign substances into your body. 2. you are not likely to get killed by stray elements or criminals in the society - but, of course, you got to be careful too with the poisonous snakes and fierce animals in the jungle. 3. you won't be exposed to elements that can cause cancer and other lethal diseases such as AIDS, tuberculosis, hepatitis, etc. - but if you get too friendly with mosquitoes you might suffer dengue or malaria and in no time meet your ancestors in the next world. That's what I can think of right now. Seriously, I don't think it's possible. Not with the most advanced technology and definitely not with the most primitive one. But then, even if it's possible, I don't think I will be happier if most of my colleagues or loved ones are dead 100 years ago and all I have is a body covered with wrinkles and blemishes and a mind that's aching for the past. There's no beauty in life when you are lonely and...alone.
Sure if it was possible how many people would want to live that long anyway? The way it seems is that alot of usually easier tasks for younger people become alot after at the older ages such as 80-100. So what would such things be like 50-100 years later?
I don't think that it would work like that. If someone were to live to be 200, it would mean that they age significantly slower than the average person. So, what a normal person defines as a difficult task when they're 80-100, the 200 year old may not find it difficult until the 150s or so.... but who really knows!
Treating your body like a temple? Obviously I wont remove my footwear every time I plan to enter my body And a LOT of people would visit my body everyday? Seriously now, exactly "how" would you go about treating your body like a temple? (and why not church? )
Pretty sure it's just referring to the way you treat your body as in treating it as something precious just like you treat a brand new car or whatnot. I suppose though living in large populated cities, selfish smokers and bad air pollution there isn't really much you can do besides wearing one of those face masks. Keeping your body pure from alot of that bad stuff would probably be more complicated than it's worth.
Yikes! The only natural thing I ingest is water everything else is junk food. My definition of exercise is 'reaching for the TV remote' and I sleep for 5 hours a day... oh boy, looks like I'm a goner for sure
Soon the scientists will discover how to separate our soul from our body and we'll be able to live forever in a pure metaphysical form of energy.
Absolutly, in the future, we will be able to live up to 150+ years but the world is going to be overpopulated and we will fail...
Currently, it's not possible to live to 200, in the future, anything can be possible with the advances in medical technology.
