Hello, Recently, I had to get rid of my proxy site which was not making good money for me. I was considering making a link bid site which I think would make me good money. But which would be better, a link bid for $30 or directory for free? Please help me out here.
there is a free link bid script though. http://www.linkbidscript.com/ Well directories and bidding dir both depends on popularity and pr normal dir = easy to get lniks and get boosted, but paid link is rare bid dir = you have to work your way up but at times you can earn $50 or more at once of course its all the same once you got good traffic and PR.
Starting a bid directory is a pretty good idea, but make sure you build it the right way, market each individual category so that the people placing links in the category will actually gain value from their submission. I have had a pretty nice success with 1 of my bidding directories that produces about $400+ a month without any promotion besides my initial maketing campaign when it was first built! Let me know if i can help out with anything or if you want to purchase a bid directory that already has PR!
Don't even think about this as a way to make money. I have invested over $20,000 in my web directory and link bid directory. If you want to make money you need to invest wisely, work hard and be prepared to actually spend a lot of money rather than worrying about the small change for the script. www.zorg-links.com << my bid directory made almost $13,000 in 6 months, do you think I even considered paying $30 for phpLB?
I invested $15k into the bid directory, getting close to breaking even now. The other 5k+ was spent on www.zorg-directory.com
If you want to earn good money on the internet you need to spend big money. When a new restaurant opens they need to spend $xx,xxx in order to get established. A large web directory is no different.
Good luck with breaking even! I think there are many ways to earn online, and some require big start up, and others don't. Just depends on how creative you are! But no doubt a resteraunt as opposed to an online biz will require a large start up, coming from experience
Thanks. I would have broken even by now if it wasn't for some crazy bidding on other sites and a certain search engine
