    What do you use now?

One of my mates has also had the same problem when he sold one of his sites for a few K's and PayPal didnt allow him to withdraw funds eventhough he had a premier verified account.

Its really bullshyt. I cant remember who but i was watching the news and a politician from the U.S during his campaign couldn't afford a recount because PayPal wouldn't release his money.

It is difficult actually. Here in DP if you do business, just everyone would want paypal and very less people have moneybookers, so you lose a lot of money. Nearly everyone I deal with sends paypal money. So even though how much we hate it, its still the best thing for me.

hey man there are many thing you should keep in mind

    1. use paypal premier if you are receiving big amounts like 1000 or more

    2. use genuine details like you original and all too be completely correct

even you are limited after providing docs you get unlimited cause if you are geniune they have to lift limited acces from you

thats it they can only create problem but can't suck you money if you are geniune

Wrong. This type of thing will get you flagged.

You should get a verified business account. The limits for deposits and withdrawals are higher. Easy enough to do, and if you are doing business online. You should have this already anyways. This is not you making money in your underwear. This is supposed to be a real online business. So treat it like that, and you will not have as many issues.

Paypal is notorious for this. I run into the same grief as many others, but you can minimize the grief by only doing business with people who are VERIFIED paypal users. If they are legit, they should have nothing to hide.

If there is that big of a deal with that, you can always do escrow.com if you are buying domains and websites. But there is not going to be a full proof way to keep from getting scammed.

If you make the buyer, or seller, do a few extra steps (if they haven't already) to complete your sale, then it's better for everyone. Anyone LEGIT should have no issue with this. If they put up a big drama on it, then you might wanna raise an eyebrow, and push away from the deal.

The main thing is to not be desperate. If you could sell the site for 700 to an unverified user, or 650 to a verified. Take the lesser amount. You'll have less grief.

    2 cents.

I think for larger amounts stick to escrow. paypal is okay for under $1000 amount.

I agree that one should make sure their account is genuine and verified and make sure they are not doing business anonymous, but if Denny or the buyer wasn't at the time, a way to get around being flagged or limited, is to use other money processors and to have that $6000 sum be sent in small portions or divided up ($700 E-gold, $100 paypal, $800 moneybookers, $1000 WU, $1000 moneygram, $2400 escrow.com)<--That's better than sending $6000 through Paypal one time unverified dude. It may be time consuming, but hey, that's the consequence of being unverified :D

Finally my Dad's account got restored today..:D

    1. I provided all the documents they requested.
    2. I provided all the documents and communications with my buyers in order to prove that service has been provided.
    3. They contacted my buyers and my all lovely buyers answered positively to their email.

I think they will not restore your account if you do not provide enough proof of your business or proof of any transactions or any documents which they are looking for.

PM me if you need help with your account. I will try to help you out if I can...

    Thanks.

    Denny:)

Paypal limits every single one of accounts, I make a new one, and the next day *bam* limited, acessed by third party. Also, tech support is brutal. 1. They don't give you the 1800 number, and also, i had to speak with 3 levels of techies to get the real support. First, and outsourced support agent from India, next, a low level agen, finally, a supervisor...all after 1 HOUR!

I had recently have a very funny situation. I was talking over the phone with one of my customers and he is the guy...who hates doing business on the Internet (can you believe, that these people still exist?). He asked me so many questions that I was pretty much tired of him and finally said: ok, let me send you PayPal invoice if you can't pay for the product on my site. And instead of using "request money", I completed the form for sending money and sent him $30 (thanks God it was only $30). I was trying to cancel the transaction, but it was done. I immediately called to the customer service AND THEY SAID THAT THERE IS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. Can you believe it? To make long story short: I needed to open a dispute to get my $30 back. What surprised me is that you can't stop your own transfer!

    haha...that's funny..:D

I remember ..I myself did send one time $100 instead of $10..

You can not stop your transfer but you can always contact receiver or file a claim which you already did.

Don't do exchanges with them for a lot of money. Use Escrow services and direct bank transfer or western union as much as possible
