Keywords, ahh keywords. write content about your programs that is directly related to the site or offer that you want to promote on each page. If you would like for me to look at your copy when you are finished I would be happy to do so, I try to keep from any type of controlling methods when it comes to my students though, I have always believed what works for me may or may not work for someone else. OK, back to the keywords. On your website there is a section under edit website, called additional properties, in the keywords meta tags area place your most relevant keywords there. Go through your copy and find words that come up more than the others, keep in mind these words must be relevant to the site you are promoting and your copy. Do searches to find out which words bring up the most results. You may also use key phrases, keep in mind you want these words and phrases..... to be ones that are searched for a lot. These frequently used words will improve the density of your content. Place the words with the best search results into the box separated by commas so the search engines do not read them as irrelevant phrases. Do the same with each page on your web site. This is just a brief overview but it covers the basics for what most search engines are looking for when they crawl your site. Make sure you include a brief description of your website in the next box provided. Again use the same phrases and keywords in this description.
That information would be great for a newbie, who is just getting started with buliding website ect. it's nice to know that there is someone out there for them..... we all had to start somewhere and many people forget that.
On your website there is a section under edit website, called additional properties eh? what website are you talking about? Keyword meta-tags aren't used by the major search engines nowadays - no harm in having them, but they're not very important.
I have read this quite a few times now - one of those situations where it does no harm. I love keywords, have to say. You find the right ones and then you're on to a winner. I think though you have to keep on top of trends and patterns, this is what let's many marketers down, as they don't move with the times.
