    My advice would be to test it for your self.. do some searches and review the results on the 1st page. How many in the top 10 have the keyword in the domain name. Do this on all engines that matter to you.

    Well this how domain name would be longer, though it's better to have domain using hifen.

    As alternatively, You should defined internal pages name as per the generic and targeted keywords.
    Well if you are using domain.com/searchengineoptimization.html that is the wrong way,
    you should use domain.com/search-engine-optimization.html
