Check to make sure the product can be downloaded. Have customers contacted you regarding any issues? I suggest you email a couple of them to find out the reason the product was returned.

    Best of luck.

Is your product unique and informative or are there a lot of similar products? If people buy something that is similar to something they have already purchased, they tend to feel cheated and will want a refund... even if they are getting exactly what you promise on your sales page.

By the way... does anyone have any idea what a "typical" refund rate for a unique info product would be?

There is no "typical" refund rate for any info product. They vary greatly - some will get none while others are almost always refunded. Clickbank usually bans products with too many refunds anyways.

Out of thousands of sales, the products in my sig have under 2% refund rates.

If the vendor offers a free sample of some kind, the refund rate should be low because the buyer will know exactly what he/she will be receiving.

My advice is to try to find products that are so good that they can offer a free sample without the fear of losing sales. To offer a sample, the vendor must be extremely confident of the product, and it shows customer satisfaction is of upmost importance.

Im thinking your product is not perceived as value for money. Is the info in the public domain? Maybe after buying your product your customers think.. Hey i already know all that!!

Maybe you should update with fresh info.
