lmfao I can't believe people are responding here. Ok. That's FAKE pagerank. Google equates the two domains, so yours will appear as that. The very SECOND you change it over to no longer redirect, you lose that standing. The toolbar may remain until the next update. But internally, you're back where you started. So yall can happily rip eachother off for buying links.
Finally, a reasonable post. This is old news. I've never seen a working example of it, and I'm not convinced that it ever worked at all. If anything, the new site (google.com in this example) should take on the PR of the old site, not the other way around. But that doesn't work either. I'm not sure which is worse, the people talking about it as if it were a new idea... or the people who are actually considering trying it.
