Craigslist - Banned! How long?

    Well I believe I was banned from craigslist. I am still able to post ad but they don't show up (a lot of good that does me).

    Well my question is are these bans permanent or temporary?

    If they are temp usually how long do they last?

    You was NOT banned.
    This is a problem about "Ghost posting".

    If you post on regions that are not related to your country, your posts will become Ghosts. You are not banned but your ads will not be visible on Craigslist.

    I was posting in the same city I live in.
    I went a little overboard one day and posted like 30 articles in 30 different cities. I just think craigslist pimp slapped me for a couple of days.

    This is a common Craigslist filtering thing called "ghosting". It happens when you spam Craigslist with blatant ads that are not wanted on their site. They can be triggered by certain keywords (ebay, make money, get rich) or from your IP address if you post to different cities in a short period of time or post the same ad over and over.

    I think your your domain was banned in craigslist if you were posting it on your ads. It happens to me before. If you keep on posting ads everyday in the same country they will banned you.
