Feedback on CnSGD's latest entries: On your second entry, the overall design looks very good but the image of the girl doesn't make sense to me. It's a nice image but it looks like it was just pasted there for no reason. On your third entry, again, same comment as the other one which is - overall design looks very good. I don't like the pencil idea though since computer graphics and a pencil doesn't look like a good match (although I'm aware that art often start out by drawing them by a pencil). Also, instead of two girls, maybe change one of them to a non-human art such as a house or a car but still rendered in 3D.
Not sure where that guy is getting all these rendered images from but i'd be a little bit concerned if i was you. I think a lot of those are from movies?
It looks like a finished logo and I'm glad about how the revision turned out. I'll wait for more entries though until the due date before I make a decision. If I have to rate it between 1 - 10, I'd give it a 9. I don't think they are. If you search google and look for 3d objects, then you can find a lot of sites with different 3d stuff and then you can render them on a free 3d program such as wings3d or daz studio.
That may be true, but the graphics themselves may be copyrighted and not be subject to any modification or reproduction without the publisher's consent. Be strongly advised to view the source of these cartoons from the submitter before you make your final decision. This is completely unbiased, as I'm not submitting in this contest, but just a heads up warning in case you run into infringement troubles later on.
Um actually they are from Poser and from Daz. They are characters I have rendered. If you would like I can send you links to all the info and where they came from. They are not ripped and please if you have any concern I would appreciate a PM first.
Thank you Mtone. You are correct it was done in Daz 3D for the squirrel and the plane and the woman was Victoria 4 I rendered. They are able to be used for commercial and personal purposes. Again I have all the links and details of the rights to use of the characters if there is any concerns.
I like the revision that you made. I'll consider it as one of finalists. It looks great but it's not the style that I'm looking for. It looks like a corporation logo (which is a style that I didn't want as I said in my first post) to me and it lacks the family-friendly factor that I'm looking for.
