Can Google do this

I have heard that Matt is filtering Google emails that talk about link buying ect and punishing the domains that it finds. Also that it will be paying for site reviews. It is punishing the domains that don't follow there rules and then turning around and doing their own version of the same thing and saying it is okay. Big brother is watching and punishing those who make them rich . This is what I call a free market.

Yes. Matt Cutts is reading your emails. All of them. All of everybody's emails. He's reading all of them. He knows everything.
And he told me all about you.
    Stop doing that, it's disgusting.

Google are fantastic at data mining and anything stored on their servers is up for grabs.

I wouldn't be surprised if they do put something in place.

Ok, so you think a company shouldn't be allowed to make their own rules for their own service? Your insane, Google is a free search engine, to use it or be indexed by it you must follow their guidelines, terms of service, etc. To think other wise is just insane, every service does this.

How do you figure Google is doing the same thing? I hope you don't dare say Adwords, because adwords provides no SEO\Pagerank value like text links do, if you noticed when you click on a AdSense ad it goes through a proxy adsense URL before the actual URL. Last I checked my adwords ads don't appear in my external links in Webmasters Central.

If you don't like the way Google plays find another search engine to optimize for, get a new e-mail service and don't look back. Guess what, you already agreed to their terms anyways when you registered your gmail account, but I'm sure you just checked the box and didn't even bother to read.

Please lets stop complaining and whinning posts about Google, no one is forcing you to use their service or be indexed by them.
