I have a well reputed website in technology/information niche site and has around 1500 uniques a day.

I am trying to sell 125x125 banner ad for my site.

How much should I sell it for??

    Thanks.

It´s very difficult to say... I think adsense is better no?

I'd actually see what potential advertisers want to offer before you say your price.

try looking at your competitors' sites and see what they're charging. Or send an anonymous email asking for a media kit, I've done that before :D

Do you guys have any idea about the roughly amount? I might go with isTay's idea but want to see what you guys feel about that.

I agree, see what they are willing to offer first, or do some price comparisons on your competitors. It will be easier to sell if you know what the going rate is. Get more info then take steps forward.

    Heya,

Traffic audience: Do you have screenshots of your traffic and where it comes from? If it's US, UK, CAN, AUS, NZ then you are golden.

Testing: Though general, have you placed ads there to test reponse rates? i.e. 1% of 1500 click the ad...?

Aff. Ads: Instead of adsense or trying to monetize with advertirers exclusively or in rotation, perhaps grab a great converting product and utilize your banner spot to promote an item that your audience would see value in. You can get upwards of 75% commission of products up to $100 (for example)... Sometimes you're sitting on your own goldmine and you wouldn't even know it ;)

    Cheers,
    NC.

Depends on how targeted your traffic is.

With AdToll there's an auto-pricing option, maybe you should find someone with an auto pricing option?

I have a site that I used to sell 100x100 banners on which was getting 8-10k uniques and I would ask 50$ for them. If that gives you any kind of idea at all.

It would be $25+ per month for good. Even though that be a little cheap. ;)
    $25-35 ;)

I gave away 1 month spots on my tech site for $5/month - 2000 uniques a day. However, that was probably ridiculously low
