    Yeah, just wonderful...Stocks plummet worldwide simply because they are afraid of the market here in the US. Tells you that we're in bad shape right now...and you're right, we're going to be in even worse shape tomorrow.

    Fortunately for me I pulled most of my money out of stocks last summer as things were turning sour and now I'm investing that money in my own projects on the web and earning a much, much better return than I could ever dream of in the stock market :p

    Thats not going to stop the crash. Futures on one of my holdings is down 12% and down 7% on another. $2000 in each of those. $1000's in mutual funds that will tank too. This sucks. It's all because people are panicking and making things worse. So everyone is selling and we all getting screwed. IF everyone looked at it like this was a prime opportunity to buy at low prices, stocks would be going up and we would be doing just fine. But every keeps selling. I'm mad now :mad:

    w3elll asian markets and partly european too are broken due to american economy and would rise if america shone brght... mainly cuz usa's investments in foreign countries is huge and if usa goes down, FI's [foreign investors] pull back their money causing liquidity n unstable markets causing them to crash....

    0.75bps rate cut to 3.5% was considerably a great cut but did not solve the issue... seems like today once again their is gonna be a rate cut say 0.5bps or 0.25bps... if its 0.5... that may be a relief for the stocks... but then its would give the outlook that the ecnomical situation has worstened, so maybe a bump in the green and one week later the same issue;

    say a 0.25bps rate cut would cause stability, but then again inflation issues would pop in, and the same situation again... a stalling scenario...

    as for the situation getting bad for future and option holders because of people panicking, well get out cuz other future holders would have to give in at riddiculkous prices if they will not be able to hold their positions, so the fault aint theirs, once the margins are gone, stocks will get sold of to prevent the markets from having low liquidity, and once again causing the stocks price to lower
