LoL NO !! Most of them are useless, I gave up a long time ago, I had purchased several orders from 1000-10000 uniques, the traffic was extremely slow and that's if at all, or some will send auto crap hits from software/programs, others will send Paid to Click traffic or autosurf traffic.

So do your homework first on the seller.

Most of the traffic comes from one person, using a script to access your site through different proxys until you reach the mark of visitors you paid for. This is very useful if you know how to make it work for you :)

I have programs that can bring you 1000k in traffic every hour but its all through a proxy so why would you want to suck up your bandwidth when no one is going to click any advertisements or even look at your content. I got suckered into it when I first started this stuff and I think a lot of people do but it is a waste of your money. I would say best thing to go at would be SEO work because adwords can get very expensive for trying to build up a website you are looking at atleast $100 a day in advertising to get substantial traffic.

Well I once tried a service which redirects traffic from expired domains to your website. I remember that I only had one conversion which didn't cover the expenses. I guess you need a catchy landing page (which I hadn't back then).

    The service I used was revisitors.com .

Buying traffic is usually a violation of policy and TOS of most ad networks and revenue sources for webmasters, so the answer is no.

No how is that even possible ? Are you telling me that everyone who buys ad's through Adwords, can not have Adsense on their sites ?

If you get to much traffic at once google will see its not natural and that will bring your Page Rank down. Won't it. Some SEO folks have told me no more than a 100 backlinks a day. I/they could be wrong.
I found Adwords will drain your wallet fast if you don't know what your doing.

I've used adwords before, blew about $140 on it. It works but its expensive, and even if you do get a burst of traffic I found getting that traffic to come back to the site is the real problem and Adwords doesn't help with that.

Yes that's wrong, if you spam links in Yahoo answers, craigslist, myspace etc. then sure you may be asking for some backlash, but as for how many links in a day ? well who really knows - if it was possible then this would be another black hatters tactic to beat down copetitors.

I have tried several traffic packages and none of them worked for me. Most offer popup and popunder type traffic and most online users just click off. I know i do when i get a popup

Yes but arbitrage runs deeper than that, arbitrage is similar to MFA sites, you develop a page with the intent of building the CPC rate to a higher level than what you pay for ad's (through adwords), so if you pay $10 per 1000 views then you'd want at least that $10++ back - if that fails it's back to the drawing board and you try to increase the CPC primarily through keyword rich articles/pages in a high paying neiche.
