Affiliate guide

Hi,

I am looking for a guide on "how to earn from affiliate marketing"
I have skills to create a website (html,php,MySql) and optimize it for search engines. I have read many ebooks on finding niche keywords etc. but still there is something I feel is missing.

I am ready to work for 8-10 hrs a day and I already have a dozen domain names registered. As I understand, affiliate marketing is where the big money is. Can someone guide pls.

 

Write appropriate content for whatever the affiliate sites are selling and use your SEO skills to get visitors. More visitors = more conversions (in theory). That's my affiliate guide in two sentences Looks like you're nearly there just get writing as the sooner you do that the sooner you get visitors.

Yes but the point is I want to understand the intricate things about affiliate marketing. I have setup a website on nokia mobile phones and written about them, but which affiliates to join and what are advanced level tricks that can be applied (white hat) to maximize the earnings.

You want to learn some skills to sell products.It i not easy without marketing.

 

PM or IM me and I will be happy to explain everything I know about affiliate marketing to you, but essentially you should go to CJ and linkshare and apply to ALL the programs and then you can pick and choose the niches you want to hit.

Networks are not the only "affiliate programs" available to you. See my signature. You sound like you have sound ideas already and are ready to implement them with the right program. Good luck to you in your quest.

 

Thanks for the replies. I guess I will start by applying to some good affiliate progs on CJ that are targeted to my niche websites and see how it goes.

I won't cover advanced level tricks, but in regards to "which affiliates to join": you already have the answer. Your site is on nokia mobile phones, so you want to search for affiliate programs related to mobile phones in general, and some nokia mobile phones in particular. That will be the interest of your visitors, so that is by far your best hope of getting visitors to click on your affiliate links. Try to think "outside the box" in that you don't need to just find phone-selling affiliate programs. How about mobile phone game software sellers? Any visitor to your site might be interested in that. I'm a software engineer and I used to write Nokia software (actually, software for the Symbian OS, which is the operating system on Nokia phones). Might even be some affiliate program out there related to selling Symbian OS programming tools. You can include more than one affiliate link on your site, so get a variety of sites related to your topic. Think, think, think! Good luck ...
