I'm tempted by the idea, though I recon I've only skimmed the surface of how to do it sucessfully, But i simply can't be bothered to write articles myself, has anyone tried hiring somone off digitalpoint to do it for them?
Yes, "ghostwriters" can be found in abundance on here. You may also want to check out elance.com for some freelance writers. If you dont necessarily like writing (like me) it is definitely a cost effective way to have great articles written. Make sure to see some samples first to ensure you are dealing with someone that knows what they are doing.
Woah elance.com is racked and stacked full of peeps, thanks a lot man, you speak so well for somebody with 2 posts, welcome to DP.
You can compose a good article on any subject after some research in about an hour. That is about what it takes me but I enjoy writting. I am using an interesting tool that comes with a 30 day demo that is helping quite a bit. It is called article architect. I may end up buying it when the demo is over. It has a rather useful KW research tool though I will say the standalone KW tool I have is better I like the one in AA too it has dug up a few gems.
if using elance. Avoid writers from India. Most will tell you they are expert writers but most are not. I have used a few providers and the ones from US are MUCH better. A little more expensive tho.
Writers in India come in variety, some good, some bad as in US. Most of the good ones are already engaged in some or other works and are not available. That leave a number of rogue writers roaming around. Another plus point with USA writer is that he is aware of the local conditions and can write better.
I know a great content writer whos stuff gets you on top EX: type in google news Three stone diamond rings , or diamond rings , or diamond jewelry and i am on top or in google type in three stone diamond rings , and i am on page 2 twice , and type in three stone diamond rings how much are they and i am # 1 and 2 on the top , its realy not what you say but how it is said and layed out ... he has the best price and speek english he is from USA!!! and the best part is people are clicking on my link and going to my website not just reading , its about how to capture the reader no matter what you sell let me know if you want hi info ....
Yeah, I do agree. I have only tried 3 writers from India. All were not good. Are you from India? because they seem to write like you. See below should be: That leaves a number of rogue writers roaming around. should be: Another plus point with USA writers is that... I was charged $250 for an ebook, but I then had to spend another $260 to get his work re-writen by a writen by an American. All I saying is.. Spending a little extra in the 1st place may end up being cheaper
Well I have tried writers from all over the place but most US writers have a lot of spelling mistakes and not all know about keyword optimization. They just give you a random article not optimized with the right keyword. I always have had a great experience with writers from India. The good thing is they are always willing to make adjustments based on your demands as and when you please where as writers from the US just give you an article and wouldn't help you much afterwards. But this is just my opinion. It also depends a great deal on the writer history therefore if you are hiring a newbie for fewer bucks than yes he can be from India, US or any other place on this planet the quality would be low.
A good E-book writer would charge you anything between $500-$2000. Therefore like I said it depends on what you are willing to spend. The more you spend the better the quality will be irrespective of the country.
The best option would be to write them yourself as you never know where the writer's source is coming from. Moreover most good writers would charge you anything between $5-$20 per article depending on the quality therefore the best bet would be to write them yourself. You might have a hard time starting but once you get comfortable with it everything would becomes easy.
As we talk about article marketing, I think it may be better to outsource the work. Of course you can always write your own articles. It is alright if you are only trying to write say 1 article a day. Taking myself as an example. I started by writing 1 article a day. But now I have different websites covering various topics. I will need something like 5 articles a day and I find it impossible to write so many article everyday since I still have a lot other work to do. You can imagine when you have 30 websites on 10 topics, it is just next to impossible for you to write the articles yourself. So what I do is to outsource some of the writing work. And I keep writing about 3 articles. But I am sure if I have enough budget, I will not write them myself. But this is for article marketing. I will write most articles on my websites myself.
First off! Nothing is impossible (That's just my belief). Well I am referring article marketing as in submitting articles to article directories for traffic, What you are talking about is articles for your own website. In your case yes if you want articles for your own website than it's recommended to outsource them but if you want to submit articles to article directories than you wouldn't see much results with 1,2,3 or even 10 articles. You need much more than that. And that would cost you a lot of money without any assurance of returns.
May be it is a bit confusing in my previous post (I feel a bit confused when I read them again now!!! So the lesson learnt is that: Proofreading is very important). In fact, I talk about both article marketing and articles for my own websites, since it will be better to submit articles to the directories everyday. And normally you can only put two to three urls in each article. Most likely you will not put the urls of a health website together with a finance website in the same article. You will then need to submit two articles a day. If you have websites covering ten niches, you will need to submit 10 articles a day. And this will turn into a huge workload. On the other hand, even if I have twenty websites, updating them once a week will not be a problem since on average I only need 3 articles a day. And this is why I will outsource the articles for article marketing (especially if the primary is for backlinks) but not articles for my own websites. Of course it is true that you will need to spend quite a large amount of money on that. Taking myself as an example, I can only manage to outsource part of the article writing work for article marketing but it already helps a lot.
Are you willing to spend $5-$20 per article for article directories? If that's the case than go ahead. But from my personal experience article quality does not matter rather the amount of articles you submit to directories which really makes a difference. Also if you are only trying to get back links than it's ok to outsource. But if you are trying to make money and sell stuff than it's a different case.
I think it is all about how you divide the resources. As I said you can put 3 links at most in one article. That means you can have backlinks for at most 3 websites for one article. You will need an article of 400 word and if you are not going for the cheapest nor the most expensive writer, it will probably cost your $4 per article. Say you are submitting 6 articles a week. You will be spending about $33 on each website every month. If the web pages are well targeted for long tails. You can probably cover the $33 by using article marketing alone. So it is not that worse. Besides, if you are going to outsource the writing work for article marketing, you can only expect backlinks. Otherwise it can hardly be $4 per article.
You can find a writer on this part of this forum : http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=60 i m also giving you some names that you can contact : bil420 ; jien ;-MollysBrother ;Ramesh Kumar, S . I only had affair with two of them Jien and Ramesh kumar . They are not so bad so you can always contact them . The other thing i can say about them is that : Jien is a good writer but sometimes she took a while before she gives you the articles and Ramesh Kumar write is article very fast but sometimes he made some mistakes . If you not interesting of contacting those writers you can always go to the Forum services . i m sure you will find some good people over there .
Besides DP forums itself, there are many other places where you can hire writers as well. Most of the time when I post an article project, around 10-15 will bid on it. People are begging you to give them the project! Some of the good places to hire writers are: www.elance.com www.getafreelancer.com www.scriptlance.com www.rentacoder.com www.kasamba.com I personally prefer getafreelancer. I hire my writer from there. Hint: You can get a bargain there with quality articles. Most often it is far less than $5 which is the average rate.
