Some people use low-paying Adwords ads to drive traffic to higher-paying Adsense pages. This is called arbitrage and some people made a lot of money doing it... Many people lost a lot of money trying it. Google is now cracking down on people that do this with "MFA" websites, which are really the only type of sites that can make a profit this way.
A lot of adsense accounts have been banned for arbitrage A couple of years ago there was some big money in this
if i have a site like www.cadillacescalade.com which contains adsense ads, Can i advertise it on adwords? or would i get banned if I advertise my adsense enabled site to adwords? from what i've heared google only bans MFA sites not Quality sites. what is your opinion on this?
thanxx for the info .. am new to this adsense business !! first time am hearing of somthing like arbitrage
Arbitrage per-se is allowed.. But arbitrage to MFA sites is not.. But it really can't be "arbitrage" unless you have an MFA site, so, there ya go..
I have a good adsense enabled content site ( not an MFA site ) and i want to promote it locally in our country, can i used google adwords to promote it so that i could have more traffic?
Thats what I was thinking. Cuz, I've been trying many ways of doing this. I just signed up for an adword account and promoted www.youtube.jinxbox.com and set $7 dollars as daily budget (which was a mistake because that is actually overbudget lol)/// but I got like good amount of clicks on the first day. But now I'm runnin out of adsense credit. I'm gonna set it to a dollar for daily budget.
i want to try to promote my adsense enabled site using adwords but i am afraid that i might violate googles TOS. It says that an adsense publisher should not participate in ppc advertising.
no that's not true. Mr. Google said it is fine. PPC advertising is fine. but you should not use automated Traffics.
I have done arbitrage, but not with MFA site, and I was doing fine. So it is ok to advertise on Adwords and have Adsense slapped on your pages. If you think about it, Google is making money for your Adwords campaign, and also Adsense clicks, so its good for them too. Cheers.
