A design i'll code up, opinions?

So i plan on coding this site up, i love simplistic designs





so what're your opinions on it?

 

It's a very nicely designed site, but it looks like it can only be used as a portfolio. But, it looks like you designed it for that purpose, so good job =D.

 

Yeah it's going to be my portfolio/design services website.

 

Beatiful. That is what I call top-notch designs and those are actually my favorite styles.

 

Just an advice.. keep all links working, clients doesn't like broken links or temp not available pages.

 

nicely done. a typical look of minimalistic design yet manage to look simply elegant. I would love to apply a similar style for my portfolio. a dose of classic flash animation for transition would be great.

I think it will attract the type of client that has high impact graphics as their priority but will not appeal to much to your ecommerce or forum (ie functional) type clients. That isnt to say this is good or bad (for us it would be bad given we have only a single designer but several programmers) but you just need to make sure your aware of what type of client your going to appeal to and therefore should be chasing.
