NEED TRAFFIC. What should I do?

Hi DP forum members. I recently made a website, and its not exactly that successful. Although I am open to suggestions for why its not successful, I would really like some hinters on how to get traffic to my site...mostly for free traffic. Thank you!

have you tried posting on related game forums w sigs?

 

You could try adbux.com, as it gives A LOT of hits for very cheap, but, odds are, not many users will stay on the page unless the content is very interesting, as the viewers get paid for visiting advertised sites for 5 seconds.

 

Forum advertising (as you do now)
Article submitting
Blogging ping it and then use social bookmarking on them
PPC
Directory listing

I tried this with one of my websites and i got 100 visitors, checked my visitor stats and 100 of these coming from this website left my website in 5 seconds.

There are many GPTR sites out there... I personally do not recommend them for this, dont get me wrong they are a great resource for site exposure but like "Jean126" stated, "100 of these coming from this website left my website in 5 seconds.."

Depends on your money, but I would go for expired domain names and a whole lot of directory submissions. Maybe some blogging as well.
