$60 logo contest - Hotel Booking Site

Hi,

I need a nice colourful logo for a new website, it needs to have a mountain and some pine trees in it, with perhaps a lake as well.

The site name is called Revelstoke Hotel Bookings.

I would like it to be quite fresh and funky, illustrated if poss??

I have two other local websites I will be looking to get done and I would seriously consider using the winner of this contest for these jobs as well.

Its not quite what I am looking for yet, I would prefer a solid font, the basic illustration could be going in the right direction, it depends on how you would do the final rendering.

 

This is the closest yet, I think the type needs to be slightly clearer, especially the last two words. I like the image itself though, very nice.

You know, it's not so cool to take another persons concept. Just telling you nicely, as you are kind of new.

 

Just curious what concept the person took...the design looks quite a bit different to me (a non-designer). Ideally after the OP posts feedback more and more of the designs will have the same look and feel. When that happens, I know I ran a successful contest.

I like this one as well, I think the words Hotel and Bookings need to be underneath the Revelstoke, I like the image.

 

Well I didn't really wanted to take your concept. I made my own image, the font is different, I placed the Hotel Bookings text differently and I also made a reflection on Revelstoke.

Outlaw_Racing said your design is the closest, so I tried to build on that.

I can't deny... I did "copy" something... the frame/watermark! I think the frame with the gray glow is quite nice so I made something close to it. Other than that I didn't copy anything. But even without frame/watermark I would still have a logo.

Regarding the text on top of Revelstoke, I will upload a version with the text on the bottom when I get home.

I also think the image will look better with a hotel & road or animals(note for other designers). I can add that to my own if you want (Outlaw_Racing).

Because of your tag seems have connection of hotel or travel, so I put some high class hotel buildings there.

P.S; my mistake, forgot the "s" there. No matter. Will change it if this concept suit with your taste.
