hey people well,i got some decent PR and old domains, but sell them is being a problem, people never want to pay a decent amount of $,i have tried to sell here in Dp and at Namepros, and i never get 100% satisfied by the price that the domain was sold, people always want the domain for less and less.. anyone here with the same problem?
How about putting some of your pics collection into a web site, launch the domain, it may be worth much more money with these. Remember to say you are a gal
The domain market is not as it use to be... (for some domains), but I had a weird experience asking $xxx as BIN and got few offers over $xxxx so I still keeping this one and one day will develop it
When you sell at DP or Namepros you are mainly selling to speculators not to end users. Speculators want to buy cheap, flip, and make a profit. End users will pay more. You have to find a better fishing hole where the fish aren't so smart. Try eBay and sell the sizzle not the steak.
domain aftermarket is very shallow and also very hard to find a good buyer who understands the value associated with the nice generic domain.........most domainers are specualtors and hence won't give descent price......only solution is to develop the domain or wait till one gets that prized end user top dollar sale......
i never thought about sell at Ebay i will try it,thank for the answer yeah i will stop being lazy and develop some domains hehe thank for the answer too
The price people pay is usually reflected by the quality of the name. People on NP usually know how much a domain is worth in the reseller market so unless you're contacting endusers, you're not gonna get a great price. Not sure the quality of the names you're selling, but in the end of the day, if all you've got to offer is PR & age to your domain & the domain is not good, it's not gonna sell for much.
I've found Ebay to be a mixed bag. Some bad domains go for ridiculous prices whilst I've seen some pretty good domains sell for less than what they should. There are a lot of sellers on there however asking way too much for pretty bad domains.
And really has not much to do with domain names believe it or not. YOU may be in a recessions but "we" are not. We aren't all Americans.
1% drop in America's GDP by rule of thumb means 1.5% drop for others. So even in a recession, still safer to be in the USA
