for traffic, only a few popular web directories that you can get several clicks within several months...

 

Monthly fees are quite rare on directories, their usually yearly or permanent.

 

If you are looking for monthly sitewide links then you are in a wrong place buddy.

 

Just take a look at the directory in my signture. We process monthly fees for listing.

 

You are better of targeting high traffic directories / sites as you say but do not worry about listing in them.

Take out front page advertising instead, ( some you may need to list in to have the site of the day front page option ) look for user zyas he has a top hit directory list in his sig.

Could you please explain what are you after? Featured listings, or what?

btw, ill try to explain what I want. I don't know if you have a name for it, I don't


When an user searches something, or views any page on the entire directory I want to appear on top of the info. Like the first thing they will read it's my text ad link or banner. Then comes the rest of the useful text for the user.


I supose I dont handle yet the "marketing slang"

I don't own those two directories but I won't hesitate to recommend them.

From what you are saying I guess you are looking for "Featured Listings". Your listing to appear on top of all the others, is that correct?

If this is what you looking for, just make sure you tick the "Featured" box when you submit to any directory. It will probably cost you a bit more than normal but your website will stay on top of all the others from your category / niche.
