All good old stuff, especially for newbies. Point #6 is very important and the reason that simple content pages with nothing but text and Adsense ads work so well. It's also the reason that many home pages don't do well with Adsense -- they are too cluttered with banners, logo graphics, other graphics, menus, ads, and text that Adsense ads get lost in the clutter. In my experience, the homepage on a large content-rich site gets only a very small fraction of the total site Adsense revenue. Individual content pages get the most revenue.
