Im planing on opeing a website with pirated movies, that are still in theaters so i need the host to be in a place where there are no copyright laws or close to none and some country which would not work with the usa or hollywood at all...places like North Korea, Cuba, heard russia is good...well you kinda get the idea...and please nothin like illegal is illegal everywhere its not you really need to leave your country more often ....the thing is i can get great quality movies that are still at the th. so it would run great and im not trying to sell anthing it would be viewed freely...thanks everyone, basically someone who would not let my details out to anyone...maybe...

You will need an offshore dedicated server. And unless you plan on spending a fortune. Your plans will fall through.

I am a little confused, are you going to host the movies or files? Or just link to them?

yes i want to to stream the movies upload it on the server but i have been noticing that if i just put a link then it breaks no laws of any country so i was thinking why not just up load the movies on you tube from different etc sources and then just link it to my site....give some advice also would be great thanks as to the hosts i found a cpl great ones but the best thing i have heard is that its illegal everywhere its just that you have to be hidden behind your domain and server/host

This is going to be pretty tough to pull off, most movie streaming sites get lots of complaints and taken down pretty quick, regardless what the host says about "warez content allowed" - once they get the lawyer letter - all customer relations usually go to trash

if you're still willing to go through, try some servers in netherlands so you get decent speed

    don't go with malaysian servers...

I think piratebay uses datacentre in Sweden and it seemed everyone was saying they are secure there......though I would strongly advise you against hosting pirated movies.

piratebay is only a torrent site,
a site that actually hosted movies would get nailed pretty quick

As what I advised it is illegal don't do it and also movies are expensive to host given the bandwidth requirements.

There are better honest ways of making money.

They are hosting at Netherlands, but these are copyrighted, don't Netherlands have copyright laws? Anyway all these movies are the very latest. Putting it online risk the wrath of the copyright holders.....

but tehy state everything they are doing is legal because all they are doing is putting links of other sites which are hosting/streaming the movies its more of a public info site "educating" and if i have a same site like and from off shore...i think i will be good to go..the thing is i can get really good quality movies...from a friend which are still in cinemas

So you are planning to argue that you are educating the public by giving them the lastest movies free? That a good DMCA defense I can assure you.

linking is a grey area, some servers allow it until they get complaints, and then they shut it down, although its hard to enforce a US copyright in some countries.
