The only thing I worry about with Adding something like price runner is that it will be taking away from actual Sales on my page.. Say I get a Sale every 15 clicks with my other programs and they are paying me at least $10 a sale then I am losing money if I am sending them to Price Runner, but like you said it could just be something we try out then scratch later.. Im am also reluctant to put my Adsense Ads up because of customers clicking away from my site.. Anyone else have views on this?
Will do. Should be early next week. This is a good point. If we do add PriceRunner, we will make it optional. Amazon and Commission Junction are already optional - if you don't put in your affiliate ID, it won't show any results.
I'm pleased with my store. Had a few problems early on, but got through them. When can I start selling sign-ups?
I am pleased aswell and have actually already made a few sales with limited traffic. I believe purdue said he will have a sales page for us to send people to within a week..

I'm discussing with a few folks to outsource a real sales page and some affiliate materials for you all as that's not my expertise. I kinda agree because Compare4.us is really more shopping oriented and doesn't describe the product at all. More to come on this discussion. Here ya go! *****************0.54 Release Notes***************** Here are the features and bug fixes being released with 0.54. 54 - Make POWERED BY user editable The POWERED BY panel on the home page is the third panel down on the left. This area of the home page is now editable by the Store Owner. If you decide not to put any content in this section, the default will still show as it does today. 55 - Put email / list management management in bottom right of home page Several people have asked for an email / newsletter management function. A basic list-management feature has been added to collect email addresses from users wanted to join your newsletter. Further features are coming to allow you to manage communications with those end-users and schedule email blasts. 56 - Add "powered by" on the footer This has been added. 61 - Second welcome email was from "AL" This bug in the second welcome letter to your affiliates has been corrected. 64 - Make background color for bar on right editable like the bar headers on the left The colors for the bars on the right are now editable like the colors on the other header bars in the application. 65 - SPOTLIGHT entries are caching. I'm not seeing my edits. This issue has been corrected. 67 - Send customer directly to product output from home page. This has been changed and we believe it's more functional now. When a user clicks on "more" they go to a second page. If they click directly on a search term, they by-pass the second page and go directly to the search output. 68 - Footer still says Compare4.us. Needs to say the domain of the store. This has been corrected. 69 - Graph colors don't match store theme Many of the store owners use colors that are non-standard and not supported by the graphing package. These will have to stay orange for the time being. 75 - Hot Product Length issue Longer fields added. No more problems. 76 - Change SPOTLIGHT to ARTICLES and ARTICLES to FEEDS This was confusing for people, so we've renamed things. We think this is more appropriate. What used to be SPOTLIGHT is now ARTICLES. What used to be ARTICLES is now FEEDS. 77 - no CJ products coming up at all We've verified the CJ search and made a few tweaks to make it slightly better. 86 - Add Subscriber list in top left This has been added so you can build a list directly from within your store. New features on the way to manage emailing to those users. 71 - RSS Feed Not Pulling There were some major bugs in the RSS processing engine. These have been corrected and we're seeing the majority of the RSS issues have gone away. There are still some RSS feeds failing, but we think those are due to problems in the originating server and not our pulling process.

I know I promised we'd be up for sales of the beta version by this week, so I feel really bad that we are currently behind. YES - Very very close. Also - Beta 0.60 went out last night. Most notable enhancement is subscription list and a full Auto-Responder. Can I get a solid test of the auto-responder? Please add a few new emails in your list and build emails to "send on day" 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 and ensure that the emails come to you over the next 5 days. It's important that you add new emails as any already in there will be too old for the business rule.. Thx
