http://www.vmgo.com/ blows sproose.com out of the water if you ask me. And you don't have to sign up to get good results.

I really hope the google killer will come, or at least a google beater... we need a little balance in the search engine world.

I tend to test whether wikipedia's found in the results for a term in which wikipedia appears on google.

    Useless...

Do they have a directory. I believe search engines should have directories.

Directories are overdone. There are too many directories as it is. But maybe it'll happen in the future?

The reason Google is #1 is because they did it RIGHT. Why would I use Sproose.com or vmgo.com when they just fail in comparrison? They're slower, they aren't as simple and easy on the eyes and they don't even have image searches...

If anything is going to compete with Google, then it needs to actually compete. Don't do what they do and just do it crappier... Don't make me sign in, don't make me do anything aside from search and click on what I want. Vmgo has faulty pagination, Sproose makes me join to see anything adult and vmgo has a terrible name. Vmgo is not memorable.

Not that I'm attacking anyone - I mean good for people to be trying just don't say 'google killer' - if any Google killer were to come along Google would just buy it.

funny how people are so quick to assume something will take down a multi billion dollar company...Google killers have arrived...they simply buy them and get bigger.

It's nice to see a new search engine on the net period. I cannot see anyone competing with G without as with anything money. I don't think Google goes buying sites because of Google killer either, it buys because the said site has potential from a business point of view...

yeah I agree...I shouldn't have said they buy the G killer, but I do feel they have made great buy outs...people thought Youtube was overpriced but they are so gigantic it was a great decision 20/20; no sense competing against great ideas so they buy them.

No matter how many features you can add to a search engine, I don't Google will ever be topped.

I will still always use google. As of right now I like google, it is simple and fast. I will always be loyal to google, for some reason I am a google fanatic.
