OK, This is how I found it out. An email, opened a dispute, We had never heard of them before so we looked at their Web Page... There was HostParlor. The business name that the PP address was under was Izloo PPC. The support email was , Also note in the whois info that it's the same info as Idea-Hosting. Also, I know it's eddie because of the email: ... Then somebody signed up to DP under Izloo, And who else would it be using the name Carl (Eddie's fake name).
a new company domain with same logo .. no doubt there. i say we screenshot it for future reference. he'll change the logo soon for sure.
Quite the detective - Thanks for uncovering this one, it'll save a lot of people a mass of money/hassle.
I'm sure people will be naive and sign up for this new hostparlor once some ridiculous story is thrown out there or the price is low enough.

Hi, yes we are trying to restore this, and we are sorry for the down time, If you have a problem or your site is not up please use the support desk to let us know, we do not check this forum regularly and it should not be used for support situations. Aimee
Yea great iWhic i've lost all my data. You can only restore data from 25 december. Damm, i've lost a site worth more than 200$ and now i don't have any proof of traffic and no data for my site.
I thought you kept daily backups, not "no" backups. Well, most of my data was restored, so that's a positive thing to think about. I wouldn't however have to expect losing lots of needed information and find there are no backups..
Ok here we all go again, bitch bitch bitch... first you are not even our client you are a client of a client of a client... so you need to contact YOUR host and have him or her supply you with a more recent back up. I don't understand why you guys do not have back ups of your sites, we do server back ups but they may not be the up to minute back up that you want. And in this situation the server back ups did no good because we could not get the files off the hard drive. I have explained to everyone, 1,2,3,4or even 5 times, that the only data that we could restore off the partition that all you host parlor customers were on was the cpanel moves that we had when we moved to our server. The techs had ran the drives through several times to try and restore the info. This is what was restored so far, I guess I could have left your sites off line until they found your most current data. This is why we stress to everyone do a back up of your sites, and your clients sites. If you had a local back up you would have been able to have our site up days ago. Aimee
