    Google shrunk the width of the PageRank display on the Toolbar, so they are also probably shrinking the time interval between updates. They will now occur every two or three weeks.

    caday32, it can take up till the next PR update. Which no one really knows when they are, it's suposed to be quaterly (4 a year, so every 3 months) but in reality they seem to be whenever google can be bothered, usually every 3-4 months.

    To get some traffic
    Write some articles and bookmark them.
    Get inbound links form relevant sites
    Get some blog post on tech blogs
    make comments on tech blogs
    write a press release introducing tour site

    Submitting to free directories will have improve the pagerank.
