That NBC says the comment came from the audience doesn't help much.

Well sure they say it's the audience, but if it was someone giving Mitt notes would the network admit to it? Of course not. I find it fishy because of how fast the whisper came and then Mitt's answer directly reflected what the whisper said.

If it was a democrat there'd be certain DP members all over this story. Since it happened to a GOP candidate it's some tin foil hat conspiracy.

    Either way it's pretty fishy.

Did you even read what you quoted in your post?

Nobody cheated here. It was just a technical glitch or something. If this source isn't good enough for you, then that's pretty sad because there is none better: the company that broadcast it and ran the microphones.

Or, you could think it was a conspiracy. We could always use more of those in politics.

Yeah, because the mainstream news media totally supports Mormon Republican Mitt Romney enough to risk their integrity to do a cover up for him.

By the way, I mentioned this in my post... not like I'm trying to cover anything up with my tin foil hat :)

It wouldn't surprise me if each candidate had an ear piece. Everything else on the news is fake and sponsored, why not debates. The questions they ask at these said "debates" are ridiculous. Previous candidates IE: bush have been accused of having ear pieces before.

It's odd that an open mic would pick up one single crystal clear whisper in an auditorium full of people and that whisper just happens to say exactly what Romney repeated seconds later.

if you believe what NBC say you are looking for an excuse, Not an explanation.

If everyone had an earpiece then why did we only hear Mitt's? And only once?

Of course they didn't have earpieces. I also cite one highly respected commenter:

So my question now is, what makes you such a credible source, over all of these sources with credibility? All you have is speculation.

Don't answer that. There is no good answer.

Yea his debunk link is from the company being accused. What a total joke.

That's like asking a criminal if he's guilty in court and letting him go if he says no. I guess that's the mentality of a loyal republican.

EDIT: Now you're citing anonymous kids on Digg as your solid source.

I don't know what happened either way. I'd need to see proof, which is unlikely to happen. All I know is that seems pretty fishy. You're just brain washed and automatically assume our precious media would never lie to us.

Romney clearly heard it. Either that or I suppose you have to invoke tape editing.

False analogy. That would be like asking Mitt Romney if he had an earpiece, etc etc.

A more accurate analogy for what is happening would be one such as:

It's like asking the power company why the power went out, then making a national whine case out of it because their answer wasn't very clear, and so they obviously didn't try very hard and were obviously part of a much bigger scandal: preventing all the latchkey kids from cooking hot pockets for dinner between 5 and 6:30 PM that evening.

Sheesh. This is almost laughable. The sad part is that it's rather pathetic.

You are joking right? Some speculation in your own highly educated and experienced and "involved-with-the-situation" brain? That is your source?

I await you to post a legitimate source that proves your point better than my sources do. (They would have to be more credible and reliable and educated.)

Well since he said, "Yes, he did raise taxes. Thank you for that. I will not raise taxes," he clearly heard it. ;) Gotcha.

Compared to the rest of them? Psh. At least this guy has some sort of credibility in knowing what we're talking about. My guess is you've never had education with corporate sound system design... (i haven't either) - which is why you and I and all of us have no place to say what it was or what it wasn't. Geesh. Thank goodness none of you are running for President...

The sad part is automatically deny what could very well be video of him cheating. While I agree this isn't proof, or really anything near proof, I think it's pathetic you automatically deny it. For you to use the accused company and a Digg comment to debate here is laughable.

For the record I don't really know what to think about this. I keep an open mind and don't jump to conclusions based on how many up votes a Digg comment might have gotten. Keep living in fantasy land.

150 upmods doesn't make him experienced nor credible. I've seen people post "Fuck the RIAA" and get higher upmods. Thanks for the laugh though. Fail.

I didn't automatically deny it. I was actually reasonable and started looking for credible sources of commentary or statements from entities involved, or somebody educated or knowledgeable or revered/regarded in the topic.

Where's your sources? Hm? :) You are still automatically speculating. You admit that it was not proof or even near-proof. So why the speculation? How do you think falsities start circulating?
