On one of the website i noticed a kontera ad, i clicked on it and came to this website. myforeignexchange.com It looks like it is a parked domain, although i''m not sure. As far as i know parked domains do not accept paid traffic , so how do they make money? thanks
Why wouldn't they be allowed to advertise? I don't think Google AdWords allows them to, but nothing stops them advertising on other networks, like they obviously have done in this case
I believe some domain parking services do allow you to drive traffic to their parked page with Adwords etc. However, most don't because their feed they are getting the ads from don't allow them to do so.
What you have found is parking arbitrage. They make money by the market imbalance of the CPC between the ad networks.
many domain registrars will actually revenue share with the domain owners on parked domains. The registrar will populate the page with the ads.
