    I believe it would get less clicks than a normal advertisement as the visitors will think its a static banner :)

    I had a simmilar format built. Square page, static, and on one of the corners I put that, got quite a few clicks but was scared so I took it off. 7% ctr I believe

    btw, that site isn't mine.

    Don't be scared for a 7% CTR.

    I've been having 9% CTR for months and everything is just fine.

    As long as it isn't invalid clicks it will be fine.

    If he/she remove that "I LOVE YOU CLICK FOR ANIMATED VERSION", the attention goes direct to the ad. ;)
