I listed a bunch of domains on my sedo.com account and parked them. I set it with no asking or fixed price so people can just make offers. But when I search sedo for my domain names, some of them do not come up as "for sale" only that they are already registered. Is there a delay usually? Is sedo an active marketplace or do domains sit there for awhile before selling?
I've had parked domains sitting there for months, only getting maybe 1-2 views. The bottom line with SEDO and other sites like it is that your domains have to be of somewhat value (compound word .com's, other single word TLD's, etc) to get any visibility at all. You'd probably want to drive traffic to it somehow - although in most cases, it probably isn't worth the time.
There are millions of domains parked at Sedo, so chances of getting an offer are very low unless the domain is very good
I have 104 domains names parked at Sedo for 6 months. I have some traffic but just 1 offers which I did not accept. Also I do not earn money by parking. Do you know somewhere else better to earn money from parking? My most domains are 1 dictionary word with .in extension.
In regards to your first question I encountered this error myself.. I dont think its a time delay since I found it on domains parked there for ages. If you contact them please do let us know what they say....
That is a no go - it is against Sedo policy (and most other parking co's) to send traffic to a name in any way. They will kick you right off for doing it. The reason is that the ad buyers want pure type-in clicks. Sedo is really Sleepo - where domains go for sleep. Parking money is better than no money, but not a lot better. But it is easy and gives a nice way to organize your domains.
If someone had previously your domain, listed in Sedo, expired and deleted for registry but not deleted from sedo you will experience days or weeks of delays unless you contact Sedo and ask them to release them from que. Thats what I do all the time...
