Definitely unique. Not too busy for me, but I think my eyes don't know where to focus. Almost like it's too far left-justified, or hanging off the left side of the page. I like it, but I think it could be fantastic with...something different. Wow, you may want to wait for a better review...lol
Artifexus, thanks for the great comment. I find it very helpful. I was hoping the white background would get the attention of one's eyes however it might not be strong enough. That's definitely something I should look into. Thanks again.
Looks fine to me. It is not too busy, but I tend to get bored with single column, single post blogs. It is a nice color and design, but unfortunately it is a cookie cutter, right down to the ads of every other web/money making/entrepreneur/blogging, blog... The design is great, but the subject mater and content is the same as everyone else. This may be harsh, and it is just my opinion, but out of all the subject matter in the world to write and monetize, this one is sooooo over done, it's starting to get boring. Every other post, or preview is, "check out my money making blog". If your expertise is truly web design, I hope you stick to it, and not make another "John Chow", Shoe Money" clone, like everyone else, writing posts about stuff that has been written on someone else's site. JMO
hmansfield, I appreciate your honest comments. I definitely don't want it to be another blog like Shoemoney or John Chow. The title "Web designer, entrepreneur" is supposed to describe me rather than the blog. I guess should be more clear about it. I have other websites created for the purpose of making some money and my blog is not in that category. Although to be honest I don't put up the ads just for fun there. Sure I expect the blog to bring a few extra bucks to cover some time I spend on the blog however I don't expect to make a living out of it. The content is work in progress. Here's what I would like to do with the blog. 1. Design some templates (not only wordpress templates) and share it with others 2. Tips and solutions on challenges I came across during designing websites 3. Photo gallery - to share my passion for photography with others 4. I also like the marketing part so you can expect me to write about it as well 5. and of course I'll publish some meaningless posts here and there too. First I needed to clean up the design before I can actually start preaching about web design. Thanks again for taking the time to review my blog.
I am a bit biased towards white backgrounds. The animated ads are a bit distracting. I think the individual posts could use up the space covered by these ads now.
Looks good, I think frontpage needs some tunning and need to put in some new content. Your last post I see is "Happy New Year 2008 December 31st, 2007 " Rest is neat!
There's another post on Jan 21st with title "My new design is here!". Not sure why you can't see it. I guess this tells me it's not that clear. Thanks

It's not busy for me but here are some things you can look out for. A better distinction between content and sidebar (since all share that blue background color) Either a lighter colored background for text or perhaps something darker. Keep tweaking ... it's getting there. Skinny
