Just dropped ADSDAQ

When I first joined up with ADSDAQ, I was extremely impressed. They have one of the best administration panels of any advertising network I have ever used. No, scratch that, it's the best BY FAR. It's amazingly easy to use.

I started out with a requested CPM of about $0.35 and a 70% fill rate. I was amazed. This was the best I have ever seen. Adbrite gave me 2 cents CPM to compare... CANEP around 18 cents.

This was about two months ago. My fill rates slowly dropped... dropped... despite getting clicks... dropped some more. So I dropped my requested CPM rate to 20 cents. Fill rate went up again, then dropped again. I dropped my requested CPM to 17 cents, fill rate did not budge. As of about 2 weeks ago, I have a fill rate of 0.05% at a requested 17 cent CPM.

I suspected something was wrong. I emailed their support Friday, January 18th for support. It is now Wednesday, January 23rd and I have received no reply.

    I have dumped ADSDAQ.

As a sidenote, the ADSDAQ code gave Internet Explorer javascript errors. Everything worked properly, but IE would whine anyway.

Now I use CANEP with a Passthrough to Mediashakers. Not sure how Mediashakers will do, just started with them.

Expand your networks. Bad choices for first tiers.

I don't want to make a privacy policy so I cannot even apply for the top networks. I am also only averaging 900-1500 impressions per day so I don't have enough traffic.

I just dumped CANEP and Mediashakers. I modified the CANEP banners to be family friendly (didn't notice they weren't) and it dropped to 4 cents CPM. Media Shakers managed 6 cents.

I'm just dumping CPM's all together.

Just copy one of your competitors privacy policies. Change the words around. Upload it to your site. Then poof. You have a privacy policy. Most networks will give you one if you ask for some guidance anyways. For 1000 impressions, you may be better off with an Adsense or some CPC program.

Yeah, ran it for a week or so... no sales. I don't think your network is very effective for Pets sites.

user_online: Yeah, I'm going to stick with 100% Adsense. It's working dandy for me anyway...

Same problem. I have tried and dumped sevearl CPM programs. There are lots of space on my site but no ads to fill. This sucks!!

Right now I'm using adbrite as CPM. Paying around $0.10. I just dumped Widgetbucks because their CPM rates dropped horribly and they are not registering any clicks. Lost $11 to them. #%@$%^%&

    Rejected by Casale media twice.
Rejected by valueclick once. Applied again.

Can anybody name just ONE CPM program that really pays good. I'm not expecting miracles. Even $0.15 - $0.20 will be fine.

Some people have said that Tribalfusion is pretty good as well. If you do apply and get accepted then please post and let me know how long it took. I just applied for the second time in a month last Monday and still haven't heard anything back from them.

A Pet Site ok. Animals/pets certainly isn't a big vertical. Perhaps in the future.

I just started ADSDAQ 2 days ago.

How come you asked for such a low asking price? Maybe I'm asking for too much ($4)?

what you do with valueclick is if they reject you ask why, they will return your email with a fast-track code.
fix the problems, add a privacy policy that covers everything in there tos and your set.
they pay up to $2 or so for pops and banner impressions have a decent payout as well.

First day, I got approximately $4. The second day it jumped to $8.

Not sure what today is going to bring, though.

Why the "LOL"? I'm entirely new at this CPM thing. I have no idea what I'm doing. I thought $4 was a good number to start with. Is that way too high?

    I personally like AdsDaQ.

The thing is, with such a company you really need patience. The fill-rate will go up and down depending on MANY factors, some of them out of your control. The change of seasons has affected the fill-rate for most sites. January is usually a poor performing month for a lot of publishers, whereas December, everyone is looking to buy something...

So I am sticking with them, my fill-rate in January has been pretty sad, but not poor enough for me to take them out, they work well with my adsense and I really recommend you people try them. Give them time, don't give up on the system after 2-3 weeks, try it out for 3-4 months.

Oh and yes, I have been paid, received payment via EFT(transfer to my bank) last night.

Adsdaq is one of the best companies that i have ever worked with. Excellent control panel. Robust system. Fast payouts.

The fill rate is never above 50% for me but you get to choose your ask rate. Just set it to something higher than your backup cpm (adbrite usually, or vcm etc) and then even if the fill rate is low you don't lose anything. It's a win-win situation.

Really you don't lose anything by adding adsdaq to your list of networks.

@add_cents - 4cpm is too high. Lower it if you want good consistant results. The system usually give you the ask price you ask first, but then it compares the performance and other factors and then your fill rate will drop down like a sinking stone.

And dont judge Adsdaq by the results you get on jan - Like briang pointed out, cpm's are really down on this time of the year.

OK. I just tried Adsdaq since you guys are saying. I set my CPM at $0.10 - very low and used adbrite as pass through code. I'm still seeing adbrite.

The networks must pay out your earnings with a low minimum, either that or you take a while to get your earnings.

i've been using ADSDAQ for two months so i didn't give it too short of a shot IMO.

i'd use adbrite passthru but it displays adsense units. i'm confident this is a google TOS violation.
