Hello guys, what is the most important aspects of a Web Host to you? Obvious Things: 100% uptime guarantee Great Price Awesome Tech Support Chat, Email & Phone Support What else can you think of?
Uptime Fast Support Getting Out of the Way to help with servers/vps Reasonable price for a Quality Service Securiy/Privacy of customers
So if I was going to start a web hosting company and I offered all of what you suggested and more for say like $4.95 per month with the first 30 days free and a 90 day money back guarantee. Would you all try out the service or just not even consider it? Thanks for letting me know guys.
Important: - uptime - speed - support (in this order) No. 1) I already have a fine hosting 2) It's not the price what's important (and $4.95 sounds so cheap that I hardly think that your service would be fast & good uptime). 3) If you'd offer 99.8%whatnot uptime guarantee, it would be better.
Support is one of the most important things after service features and the price Also uptime is important too - it wouldn't be good hosting if your pages wouldn't work
like i said, if it is reasonable price for quality service, then yes I amy host a site or 2 and others may. Also $4.95 per month is nothing to be judged for as if it is being CHEAP or NOT based on the numbers alone. Specs/features need to be considered Example scenerio: Dedicated server with 250GB/2000 GB BW say $99/m You are selling only 20-25 accounts. $4.95/m with 10GB/80GB = FINE $4.95/m with 60Gb/800GB BW = CHEAP and UNRELIABLE if you keep your promise with trial or moneyback, you do not need to offer both actually. Make it moneyback guaranteed (keep your promise), no trial needed. 7 Days trial may be fine as well but not 1 month free if you ARE offering both credibility: MB and Trial
Then there's the speed issue. How do I know that the server is fast... and not only for the 90 days - but for the next 6 and 12 months. You need to convince me on that too. To me $5 is cheap no matter what you sell ... eh, kaung has a point here.
Well would showing proof of certain websites being up for months with x amount of traffic prove how reliable the server is?
Hmm, I think having an open discussion forum where people could say "good & bad" stuff, and BAD stuff would be openly discussed (and not deleted) would be a good idea.
Glad I could be of assistance Make bloody sure that the public forums are 110% transparent... otherwise they lose their meaning.
