Building PHP CMS

    I looking forward to build a generic PHP CMS something simple. Is there any tutorial on this? I play around a few codes but no sure whats the best way to approach this.

    the PHP MySQL video tutorials at http://www.lynda.com
    are good, the example application he builds is a custom cms.

    These tutorials aren't free but I think you can get a 7-day free trial for lynda.com somewhere.

    I suggest you buy this book titled "PHP MySQL Website Programming: Problem - Design - Solution" from apress. The book will teach how to build a functional CMS from scratch! the book consist of how to build admin area, dynamic news content, syndication, ads, polls, forum, and shopping carts...I personnally use this book, so that's why I suggest it to you..You canview the book here http://www.apress.com/book/view/159059150X
