That is amazing news!!! It is all happening for Ron Paul. All the hard work does pay off. Very exciting to see these results.
Im in cali and i cant wait till he comes here. we will be yelling more than we yelled during the charger patriot game lol.
I'm reading reports on the Ron Paul Forums that Paul may have won the Louisiana caucus today in a landslide. And that basically if no one wins 50% of the vote on the Feb 9th primary that Paul will have a great majority of the total delegates (even if Paul loses the primary handily.) The LA system seems quite confusing though so ... I'm still trying to figure it all out. Regardless it looks like extremely good news for the campaign. It looks like the "on the ground" stuff is starting to match up with the internet stuff (first doubling the polls in Nevada and now this showing in LA.)
A lot of mixed messages coming in from Louisiana. Rumor has it (unsubstantiated) that the LA GOP sponsored the other candidates under an uncommitted slate, and managed to take the majority of delegates in each of the 7 districts. Now this is of course, based on a number of Ron Paul votes that have been marked "provisional" pending confirmation that the voter's GOP registration was prior to 11/30/07. So at this time, Louisiana cannot be chalked up as a victory or defeat. More info to come as it becomes available. ------------------ Ron Paul anything but ordinary Dean Treftz - The Daily Iowan http://media.www.dailyiowan.com/med.../Ron-Paul.Anything.But.Ordinary-3162545.shtml ------------------ Ron Paul campaign opens Edwardsville (IL) office http://granitecitypress-record.stlt...01/23/news/sj2tn20080116-0116gcj_paul.ii1.txt ------------------ Politico: Ron Paul continues to best Giuliani http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0108/8062.html ------------------

The NJ 101.5 Radio is kickass. And here is an amazing treat. Glenn Beck and Ron Paul have had an adversarial relationship (not unlike myself, and my sweet love GTech). At one time, Beck called Paul the "Mayor of CrazyTown" and Paul referring to Beck as a "demagogue". Well, GB had Paul on his radio show, and while I don't have the audio (yet), the transcript is posted here, http://www.glennbeck.com/content/articles/article/196/4897/ And these are some of the juicy tidbits.

Louisiana update! http://www.lagop.com/ Basically, McCain co-opted the Giuliani, Thompson and Huckabee supporters to get a "win". However, that win is contingent on the provisionals not altering the race. Many Ron Paul supporters have reported in to the campaign that they did indeed register on time, but had to vote provisionally regardless. So our totals could go up, and eclipse McCain. Bad news for Romney who spent a lot of time and money in Louisiana, and Huckabee whose people ended up voting for McCain through the sneaky "Ronald Reagan - Vote for the Gipper" slate. Seriously, the slate was organized with Ronald Reagan on the slate cards and probably a sneaky trick engineered by the McCain people who couldn't fill full slates of 15 delegates per district. So the results could improve, at worst we finished second, and have now beat every GOP candidate at least once. Thompson (out) 3 times Giuliani 5 times McCain 1 time Romney 1 time Huckabee 2 times
Oh man, Glenn Beck interview was priceless! They are all catching on! Slowly but surely! The truth will prevail!
Thanks for the interview MP3, I always thought Beck was a cock but he's coming round by the sounds of it.
Ron Paul Super Bowl Commercial. I think this is a pretty great idea. Not just because of the large amount of people that will see the commercial just 2 days before Super Tuesday but also because of the amount of publicity it could help him net. I don't remember ever seeing a political ad during the Super Bowl (although admittedly, I don't normally watch it) so I think that would be a good story.
Nay my friend, I have never been tempted to delve in left-wing-totalitarianism. I'm a pure Libertarian/Anarchist.

are we back to enthusiasm for strawpolls despite them being shown to be completely inaccurate? If strawpolls were any indication Ron Paul would have done much better than the national polls were saying when the actual votes came in.
Absolutely. Relentless enthusiasm. If National Polls were any indication, Ron wouldn't have smoked Rudy in 5 states already, and narrowly missed the 6th by 1% of the vote.
