User generated blogs with adsense?

If I have a site allowing people to sign up, and write blogs.

This will be good with adsense right? If many users start posting up blogs especially with good keywords, that would make some good cash right?

Or is it better to stick to a niche site

 

Yes it is better, but then why would user's want to create a blog in your site and write for you?
when they can create a blog at blogger.com and write for themselves and make money?

Why do people still join Xanga and LiveJournal?

they will do it to get feedback, to communicate with others.
along with making threads, posting pics...get my drift?

 

getting users to create the content is a gold mine. Just gotta figure out how to make them do that.

 

I have a section at my site where members can make blog posts.. It's not a great earner, but on the other hand, not a whole lot of members make use of it..

 

Vbulletin has now been providing blog extension for Vbulletin based boards, All though many people have started using it, it ads a value to the site, I'm not sure it will help in generating huge revenues only based on this concept.

 

Just for your information, people who write blog in Blogger, they will have 100% revenue share of the adsense income.

So, your idea is a possible one but you are difficult to beat the giant Google.

 

Do you think the whole world knows about making money online? There are still large number of people using blogger who never used adsense on their blogs.

LOL, if you happen to own a blog at blogger.com, you will notice that after every post it shows earn money by place google adsense ads.

I have word-filters enabled to prevent too much profanity, i have URL and spam filters enabled to combat spam or links to bad places, and I have a crack-team of moderators to catch whatever the automated filters miss..

there was a guy here at DP that was whining about getting banned a few weeks ago becuase his users were posting stuff that violated the TOS and he never bothered to keep an eye on it..
