Its possible that only that product in particular dried up, however i dont think its possible that everyone in here is promoting the same product and they all dried up

That's the thing, the product in question has actually increased in popularity, gravity, and % of sales coming from affiliates.

ummm...i guess the clickbank stats are correct, the only question i got is how many of those sales have really been credited to their respective affiliates?

That is always a good question. Unfortunately some vendors practice stealing aff commissions. More than once while looking at the source code of the vendor's landing pages I saw the cookie stuffing code (something like this) that automatically ovewrites the aff cookie with the vendor's cookie.
    Cheers.

    Thanks for that. Much appreciated.

Something to consider putting on my landing pages and something to check before promoting a product.

Just do not overdo it. Do it only for the product that you promote with a particular landing page. You can get in trouble if you try to stuff your visitors with multiple cookies.

I wouldnt even try that on a single landing page. At least if im not looking to get banned from Clickbank. They might not notice it straight away, but be sure that when more people start to use that, they will notice and then you will get banned.

yes, only stupid people do that. Why should someone rip an affiliate that is working to make you money. It will only make the affiliate quit and you will be left with nothing.

Its kind of exchanging hundreds of bucks(That Affiliates Generate) for a couple of stolen coins.....no sane person would do that:rolleyes:

I can't tell anything about conversion rate, because I don't have stable sales everyday.

You would be amazed how much money those "stupid" people (I assume you referred to vendors) be able to pocket before they are caught (if ever).

Do you expect clickbank to verify the source code of every landing page to find that cookie stuffer code? they would not do that, period.

By the way, an affiliate using this code does not steel commissions from anyone. The last visited affiliate will get the sale, that is how the system works.
