is it true that search engines don't like seeing website having so many contents all of a sudden? you get penalized or something? does search engine like it if you keep adding a lot of contents on a daily basis? or little and little is better? Thank you.
I usually try and spread my content out over the week. Why blow your load all at once? Let's say I have 5 articles. If I post them all at once then my site is seen as having been updated once. If I spread them out over 5 days then it looks like I have content coming in everyday.
I have no personal knowledge that would answer this, but I can take a stab. My guess would be that it doesn't matter. If a site could only add say 10 pages per day to not be seen as spammy, sites like DP would have been nailed long ago. Just a guess, but I seriously doubt that adding many pages at once would make any difference in the google algo.
Yes and no, it depends how often you always update content. In the infamy of your website the more content the better, usually I'll block my site with robots.txt and meta robots until the basics are complete with all content in place, then I let the spiders lose. I've never seen actually proof that "too much" unique content can hurt your site, in fact I would expect good results from massive amounts of unique content.
Your kidding right? It wont hurt you its content! But keep adding atleast every other day, content is what will win your spots in the engine!
if its unique content search engines will love it, once i have put loads of contents to a site (using database backend) and i saw a major increase in visitors from search engines anyway its good to add some content on daily basis as well, so you can increase the number of repeated visitors and also search engines will index more and more contents , that means more visitors
